So impressed with pass away of Mrs Amanda Hunt, who was my english teacher many years ago.
She was a very funny woman, last years I could find her in a little but very friendly apartment, we had several exchange of opinions about music in general (yes, obviously about jean michel jarre too), politics, formula one and her experience in arequipa. I supported her with a blog to help to promote private english courses, i suppose i will have it online to remember her
During ours meetings and despite of her physical condition, she kept a great sense of humor, she enjoyed kidding about students of ICPNA institute and "expert" english teachers in the city.
I met her in Centro de Idiomas de la UNSA, maybe in 2002, I´m no sure, and she was the best teacher that I had these years in the language centre.
I don´t remember the year, but I was part of a the team that share some videos in La Casona Perú, one of these video proyection was AERO: A Tribute to the Wind (Jean Michel Jarre´s concert in Denmark) and I was very happy to see her in a seat with some of her students, I shown her some of my personal collection of jarre´s music.
I hope she was very happy and relax looking all her students and joking with our pronunciation mistakes, and I hope she take a pen and correct this text for her and says me something like "oh my god, are you kidiin me Aldo?".
See you soon Amanda, thanks a lot for be part of my life.
take care!
My sincere condolences to her daughters, Amanda was a great woman.
